Turniersieger 2018: VFB STUTTGART

Nach einem durchwachsenen Start in der Gruppenphase und lediglich Platz 4, steigerte sich der VfB Stuttgart in den K.O. Spielen (3:0 gegen FK Austria Wien und 4:0 gegen FC Bayern München) und sicherte sich nach einem packenden Finale (4:2 gegen Hertha BSC Berlin) zum nunmehr 9 mal den Titel beim U17 Jugend Eurocup in Gaildorf.

Die 3.000 Zuschauer welche an beiden Turniertagen in der Gaildorfer Sporthalle die teilweise dramatischen und engen Partien verfolgten und den Turnierrekord an Toren bestaunen durften, sorgten wieder einmal für ein ausverkauftes Haus. Der Verein zur Förderung der Fußballjugend des TSV Gaildorf e.V. bedankt sich bei allen Helferinnen und Helfern, Sponsoren, Vereinen und Zuschauern für eine tolle Veranstaltung und gratuliert noch einmal recht herzlich dem VfB Stuttgart zum Titel. Es war uns wieder einmal ein Vergnügen Sie alle zu Gast zu haben und wir freuen uns bereits heute auf den 30. Internationalen Jugend Eurocup, unser Jubiläumsturnier am 12. und 13. Januar 2019.

Champion 2018: VFB STUTTGART

After they started off on the wrong foot during the group stage (Fourth place only), the red and white team performed better and better during the quarter- and semifinal (3:0 vs. FK Austria Vienna and 4:0 vs. FC Bayern Munich) and won a dramatic final vs. Hertha BSC Berlin 4:2. This was the ninth title for the team from Stuttgart during their participation in the U17 Jugend Eurocup in Gaildorf.
3.000 spectator in a sold out ground saw two days of amazing indoor football, excellent performances and most goals ever in the tournament history. The whole organisation wants to say thank you to all volunteer, sponsor, clubs and visitor for a great weekend and an amazing tournament. It was a pleasure to host all of you and we are looking forward welcoming all of you to the anniversary, the 30th International Jugend Eurocup 2019 which will take place the 12th and 13th of January 2019.
